Many of us don't know what we want to do in life when we leave school, college, or even after we graduate, so her story is particularly reassuring for students who don't yet have everything planned out! We were joined by Bethany Ingham, a former Brune Park student who applied for various apprenticeships in Year 11, and was accepted onto a placement with Airbus. Still only 17 years old, she is already well on the road to a successful career in engineering, and talks to us about the application process and her day to day role as an apprentice. We were extremely proud to welcome back Matt, a former Bay House pupil who is now a Policy Advisor in the Cabinet Office, working to coordinate foreign and defence policy across government, including the international response to Covid-19. We were so excited to be joined for this session by James Hume, a former student who is now a successful musical theatre actor, and has played principal roles in the West End and internationally, in shows such as Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins.  You can hear his extremely helpful and inspiring talk here.
